As many of the group did not get back until the day before our curation tutorial, we did not have chance to get together for another meeting over the christmas period. So we had to instead meet up ahead of our tutorial in order to quickly reconnect after the busy christmas period and assure we were all on the same page. The day before this I had also sent around some pictures I had taken from within the space, hoping this would give everyone a chance to think about possible placements and also refamiliarise us with the space after a period away.
When we got to the meeting I passed around
the proposal forms I had printed so that everyone could get a proper
look at all of the ideas together. Tess also presented her and Maisie's
designs for leaflets. I was really impressed with the designs,
particularly the hand-drawn style of the Process/Progress title on
Tessa's designs.

We discussed the outcomes and eventually decided on Tessa's design, I really liked her examples as she had almost worked the title into a logo of in it's own right. This is something that I know Moosey had done with their exhibitions in the past which really added to the professionalism of their shows. Instantly I was inspired to, like them, produce a cut vinyl sticker of this title to go somewhere in the exhibition; another feature I thought might give the show an extra sense of professionalism. (see left picture for example of iconic fonts in a Moosey show)

All she needed now was the descriptions from the
artists, but I also suggested that we trace the area of our exhibition
on a zoomed in map with numbered areas corresponding with each artwork
and artists, as a sort of visual guide.
We then had our group curation tutorial
with Desmond, who was very impressed with our proposal forms and the
open way the form was ended, to allow the artists to continue to develop
and further explore their ideas without limitation. There were some problems with our space being covered with charcoal from a previous show, and concerns were raised about our ability to logistically set up within the time left once it was in full shape again.
